  • Analyzing your show with stats

Posted by Jon on July 21, 2023 at 2:32 am

After the recent mastermind on using the code interpreter with apple analyticsI was inspired to start that converstaton for my show… chatbgt plus DID NOT DISAPOINT!! (Outside of not being able to read one of the crv files for trends)

    MY FIRST PROMPT:

[Act like you are a podcast producer that is very knowledgable about how to grow a podcast show and great at giving advice in a direct and simple way. Im going to provide podcast analyics to my show. Please share what I should be focusing on, how my show stacks up to that and any areas of opportunity . Before we begin, please let me know if you understand my request and if there is anything else I should be considering..]

After that I added the episodes analytics. I then continued a converstation around discoveringmy niche, what the audience likes, and even help with narrowing down the guests I should have on the show.!

    ANOTHER FOLLOW UP PROMPT:

[Based on the information provided and what you now know, please analyze and share any commonality found with popular shows indicating the type of content the audience may be drawn to.]

Has anyone else started analyzing stats yet and if so please share any great ways to gain insights on your show.

That’s so cool, Jon! @marcronick has been the one diving more into the analytics. I’ve only just gotten my feet wet on this front. I think @userashley may have been dabbling with analytics as well. I KNOW she’s using code interpreter as well as Claude for some analysis.

I’m planning out a little research analysis project looking at high-performing videos (this would probably work for podcasts as well), and seeing if ChatGPT can draw any connections to the best-performing ones. From there, I want to try replicating what they do and see if we can get content ranking among some of the most popular ones.

Haven’t 100% decided if I’m going to start with YouTube videos or short-form content like TikTok, but really excited to dive in and share with you all what I find!
