  • BREAKING NEWS: ChatGPT Code Interpreter

Posted by Nick on July 7, 2023 at 9:36 am

@marcronick just put this on my radar last night- OpenAI is making their Code Interpreter plugin available to all ChatGPT PIus users over the next week!

This has been a long-awaited feature within ChatGPT that would allow the chatbot to analyze various documents like PDFs, Excel documents, and more. The addition of Code Interpreter allows ChatGPT to pull insights, perform mathematical analysis, and provide contextual information based on the documents uploaded to ChatGPT.

We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about WHEN it will be realsed and HOW we as podcasters can take massive advantage of this new ChatGPT feature!

I just realize I have access to it. Like the plugins you have to enable the feature to use it. I was reading an article about it and there was a photo highlighting that you had to enable the feature. Had I not seen it I probably would have assumed I was still waiting for the feature. Excited to experiment with this!

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rdZ4GSU683cnSBQJssv_BiOn98g9KM9k Sure, in this folder there is the original photo of my cat Kensington. The black and white version is an edit. I asked code interpreter to rotate the image, crop it into a square shape, increase the brightness and saturation, and add grayscale. There is also a GIF file that is made from the image. I asked for it to create a gif that was a slow zoom in a continuous loop. Haven’t quite gotten it down for video editing yet. I’ve figured out how to tell it where to make cuts but not much beyond that.

I just started digging into this a bit this morning! Nothing crazy, but I basically took an image and turned it into an animated gif that zooms in on the image.

This could be an awesome way to generate video clips for podcast promotion 🤔
