  • Your Go-to Prompts?

Posted by Marc on July 2, 2023 at 5:52 pm

I’m curious what some of our go-to prompts are when you’re using ChatGPT for your podcast? I’m sure we all have that one prompt we’re always copying/pasting! Please share one with me here!

It’s not really a go-to prompt necessarily, but more like go-to pieces that I always add to my prompts now. I almost always add a website for ChatGPT to analyze (with browse with Bing is temporarily unavailable I use the WebPilot plugin):

“Analyze this website: [insert website]… I want you to help me to [insert task] based on the information on that webpage… Ask me any questions that will help better understand the goals and objectives and provide the best possible [reinsert task]”

I’ve found that this gets ChatGPT on track with some of the background information much quicker because it’s already doing a quick assessment of the information on the website that it’s analyzing. Then any additional information needed, gets picked up by the last sentence inside the prompt.

Wow, actually, Nick’s prompt is awesome. Especially for getting new guests onto your show. And wanting to get a quick background. And then I would even further add prompts to suggest a flow of show and questions to ask. (Did this recently with just a bio) Maybe even include a link to a YouTube video or podcast the guest was in recently and having the AI identify opportunities that were not taken advantage of in that interview.
